Delta Wellbeing has been awarded the highest possible recognition from Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) for the support it provides to help people live safely and independently in their own homes.

The community response service achieved Excellent ratings across all areas in its latest inspection.

The report highlighted the positive impact the service has on people’s lives and found that people are treated with dignity, respect and kindness by dedicated and skilled team.

The inspectors praised staff for being innovative and working collaboratively to help individuals achieve their personal goals, maintain their independence, and remain living safely at home.

Feedback gathered during the inspection from customers, families and partner organisations reflected the difference the service makes every day. Staff were described as caring, respectful and professional with one person describing the service as “wonderful” and another stating: “I wouldn't be able to be home without them.”

Health and social care professionals referred to Delta Wellbeing as a “completely person-centred” service that delivers an “excellent quality service that really meets the needs of people.”

The report found no areas for improvement and no priority action notices were issued, underlining the consistently high standards being delivered by the service.

Registered Manager Sarah Poulton said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved Excellent ratings across all inspection areas. This recognition belongs to our dedicated team, who work tirelessly every day to support people to live independently and safely in their own homes.

“The inspection highlights what matters most to us; delivering high-quality, person-centred care that improves people’s wellbeing and helps them achieve the best possible outcomes.
