Combatting loneliness: how Delta Wellbeing can make a difference

Loneliness can affect anyone at any time, including people of all ages and backgrounds. It’s important to know that you are not alone.

Loneliness Awareness Week 2024 is an opportunity to highlight the impact of loneliness and remind everyone that there are resources available to help. At Delta Wellbeing, we are committed to supporting you and your wellbeing. As part of our Delta CONNET package, we offer a range of supportive services to help tackle loneliness and promote social connection.

Regular wellbeing calls

One of the key ways we support individuals is through our personalised proactive wellbeing calls. These calls are not just routine check-ins, they are tailored to meet each person's specific needs and can be scheduled weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Our proactive team is here to check in on you, provide support, and ensure your well-being is always a priority.

Engaging in meaningful activities

Staying active and engaged in activities you love is important for your mental and emotional health. We can help you find and join community groups that interest you, whether gardening, dancing, or any other hobby. We aim to connect you with like-minded individuals and provide the support you need to join these groups and enjoy your passions.

Stay connected with family and friends

Maintaining strong relationships with family and friends is important not just to combat loneliness. We can offer support to help you keep in touch with your loved ones. Whether you need assistance with technology to stay connected or just a little encouragement to reach out, we are here to help.

Delta CONNECT is designed to be a comprehensive support system for you. From regular wellbeing calls to helping you engage in activities and stay connected with your loved ones, we aim to address all aspects of your wellbeing. During Loneliness Awareness Week 2024, and every week, remember we are here for you.
