Delta Wellbeing awarded in Swansea Bay Business Awards

Delta Wellbeing’s CONNECT service has won in Business Live's Swansea Bay Business Awards in the Customer Focus category. 

Finalists in the local business community joined at the award ceremony in Brangwyn Hall on October 21 to recognise and celebrate the region's resilience and achievements. The awards are hosted by Reach Plc, WalesOnline and Business Live. 

Business Live’s Media Wales Business Editor Sion Barry said, "Delta Wellbeing’s CONNECT service was launched two weeks ahead of the first UK-wide lockdown. The first project of its kind in the UK, the widespread roll-out of digitally supported care has connected more than 2,500 vulnerable people to preventative care, with more than 18,500 pro-active wellbeing calls made in the first three months and many more since." 

Delta CONNECT is a wrap-around support service which includes: 

  • A wellbeing assessment 
  • Proactive wellbeing calls tailored to your specific individual needs - this could be daily, weekly or monthly 
  • A bespoke Technology Enabled Care (TEC) package 
  • Access to an appropriate 24/7 community response team 
  • Digital support to help loved ones stay connected and help to re-engage with the community 

Available in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire, this service supports individuals across the region.
