Delta Wellbeing joins new Living Well Centre in Carmarthen
Llesiant Delta Wellbeing is delighted to be part of a new Living Well Centre in Carmarthen, a unique collaboration designed to bring vital health and wellbeing services together under one roof.
Delta Wellbeing staff will be based at the centre three days a week – Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays – from 9am to 5pm, to provide the community with greater access to its support services.
A hub for co-ordinated care and support, the Living Well Centre includes more than 16 partner organisations all located at one site within the grounds of Parc Dewi Sant.
Spearheaded by regional community development charity PLANED, the centre will provide a range of services including mental health support, dementia care, education, arts, exercise classes and much more.
By having staff on-site, Delta Wellbeing will contribute to the centre’s mission of offering a seamless and holistic approach to community health and wellbeing, providing individuals with access to multiple services in one location, and empowering them to lead healthier and more independent lives.
Delta Wellbeing’s Head of Operations Rebecca Davies said: “We’re delighted to be part of this innovative collaboration. Being based at the Living Well Centre three days a week will help us to deliver our services in a more accessible and joined-up way, alongside like-minded organisations. It’s all about making a positive difference to the lives of people in Carmarthenshire, and we’re proud to play our part.”
A Local Authority Trading Company owned by Carmarthenshire County Council, Delta Wellbeing provides assistive technology and proactive monitoring and support for older and vulnerable people, as well as delivering a single point of access for health and social care information and advice in Carmarthenshire.
