Delta Wellbeing are finalists in an impressive five categories in the Wales region of the Great British Care Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence across all areas of the care sector recognising the work of frontline staff such as care workers and care managers, and those people who have made an impact in other ways such as training and innovation.

Delta Wellbeing has been shortlisted for the Care Employer Award along with the awards for Dignity in Care, Putting People First and Workforce Development. In addition, community response officers Mark Burt and Nadine Rees have been recognised for their exceptional service, both being nominated for the Home Care Worker Award.

Being shortlisted in five categories is a testament to their innovation and the significant impact they have on the lives of our most vulnerable residents. Their dedication to providing compassionate, person-centred care, particularly in urgent situations, is truly commendable.

“Delta Wellbeing’s close collaboration with social services and the health board ensures that residents receive the care they need at home, reducing unnecessary hospital admissions and promoting better outcomes. This recognition is well-earned, and I want to personally thank the team for their unwavering commitment to improving lives in Carmarthenshire.”

The winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 6 at a special gala dinner at Cardiff's Marriott Hotel.
