Llesiant Delta Wellbeing and CGI return as joint Main Programme Partners for the National Social Care Conference 2024

Llesiant Delta Wellbeing and CGI are returning as joint Main Programme Partners for the National Social Care Conference 2024 (NSCC24) for the second year running.

Wales’s leading social care event is being held on Tuesday October 15 and Wednesday October 16 at Glamorgan Cricket Club in Cardiff.

Hosted by ADSS Cymru with support from the Practice Solutions team, the National Social Care Conference is the foremost showcase and networking opportunity for the social care sector in Wales.

Delta Wellbeing is a centre of excellence for Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services and CGI is one of the largest IT and business consulting services companies in the world.

The theme of this year's conference is Transformation: Achieving More with Less, making Delta Wellbeing and CGI the ideal partners. Their innovative partnership utilises technology to support better outcomes for people who use social care services.

This approach complements the exciting and varied programme of talks, workshops and networking opportunities on offer at NSCC24.

Delta Wellbeing Managing Director Samantha Watkins said: “We are delighted to be the sponsor of the main programme of the NSCC24 again this year with our digital transformation partner CGI.

“Together we are driving an ambitious agenda for digital transformation and service provision across Wales and are committed to harnessing the power of technology and data to improve the health and wellbeing of the population, and we recognise that our expanding scope of work can have a significant impact on demand for health and care resources – both physical and financial.

“This year’s theme ‘Transformation: Achieving More with Less’ aligns with our vision to develop creative solutions through a collaborative approach, utilising technology and developing our workforce, to deliver a new connected model of care to provide more efficient and effective person-centred services that make a meaningful difference and deliver value to people.”

Justene Ewing, Vice President Health and Care, CGI said: “We are privileged to once again be a Joint Main Programme Partner for the National Social Care Conference 2024, in collaboration with Llesiant Delta Wellbeing.

“At CGI we are committed to doing things differently. By fostering collaboration and harnessing the power of data, we aim to create sustainable, person-centred solutions that truly make a difference in the lives of people across Wales.

“We look forward to engaging with the sector’s leaders and innovators at NSCC24, as we continue to reimagine the future of social care together.”

ADSS Cymru Cadeirydd Lance Carver, Director of Social Services for Vale of Glamorgan Council said: “I’m looking forward to continuing to build the relationship with Delta Wellbeing and CGI through their support of this year’s conference. In these times of huge challenge for social care, the generous support of sponsors who are making a positive impact in the sector is more important than ever.

“Delta Wellbeing and CGI’s sponsorship aligns with the themes of NSCC24 and will enable us to bring attendees an unmissable event that will inspire, educate and help them feel connected to social care innovation and best practice networks on a national scale.”
